National Social Assistance Programme (NSAP)

IGNOAP (INDIRA GANDHI NATIONAL OLD AGE PENSION YOJANA)

  1. He/she belongs to a BPL category

  2. Age group 60 to 79 yrs. Rs-1000/- Per Month

  3. 80yrs & above Rs-3500/- Per Month

 

IGNWP (INDIRA GANDHI NATIONAL WIDOW PENSION YOJANA)

  1. He/she belongs to a BPL category

  2. Age group 40 yrs to 79 yrs.

  3. Rs- 1000/- Per Month

 

IGNDP (INDIRA GANDHI NATIONAL DISABILITY PENSION YOJANA)

  1. Disability Certificate issued by Medical Board 80 % and above

  2. He/she belongs to a BPL category

  3. Age group 18 to 79 yrs

  4. Rs-3500/- per month

 

NATIONAL FAMILY BENEFIT SCHEME (NFBS)

  1. BPL / BPL like Category.

  2. Deceased must be 18 years above & below 60 years old.

  3. Death Certificate from competent authority.

  4. Income certificate from the competent authority up to 1,00,000/-

  5. He/she will get one-time financial assistance from Govt. Rs-20,000/- (Rupees twenty thousand) only.

  6. Sanctioning Authority- BDO / EO

 

MADHU BABU PENSION YOJANA (MBPY OAP)

  1. He/she belongs to BPL/ having annual income not more than Rs-60,000/-issued by Tahasildar or RI.

  2. Age group 60 to 79 year Rs-1,000/-Per Month

  3. 80 years & above Rs-3,500/- per month

 

MADHU BABU PENSION YOJANA (Odisha Disability Pension )

  1. Persons with bench mark disability certificate (40 % and above) issued by Medical Board.

  2. He/she belongs to BPL/ having annual income not more than Rs-60,000/-issued by Tahasildar or RI.

  3. Irrespective of Income for HIV+ve. DP-AIDS

  4. No age bar.

  5. 0-59% disability – 1000 PM

  6. 60%-79% disability – 1200 PM

  7. 80% and above disability – 3500 PM

 

MADHU BABU PENSION YOJANA(UN-MARRIED / DESTITUTE / DIVORCED / DESERTED WOMEN)

  1. He/she belongs to BPL/ having annual income not more than Rs-60,000/-issued by Tahasildar or RI.

  2. Age group - 30 years & above.

  3. Rs.1000/- per month.

 

BANISHREE SCHOLARSHIP

  1. The applicant should be a student with 40% or more disability.

  2. The applicant must be bona fide resident of Orissa.

  3. The applicant should be a regular student of educational institute. 

  4. The applicant’s parents annual income should be below Rs.2,00,000 or shouldn’t be a tax payer.

  5. The applicant shouldn’t receive any financial assistance from State/Central Government.

  6. Under Banishree Scholarship applicant will receive scholarship for 10 months @Rs.400 per month from class 1 to 5, @Rs.500 per month from class 6 to 10 and @Rs.600 per month from +2 to +3.

 

PRE-MATRIC, POST-MATRIC SCHOLARSHIP

  1. The applicant should be a student with 40% or more disability.

  2. The applicant must be bona fide resident of Orissa.

  3. The applicant should be a regular student of educational institute. 

  4. The applicant’s parents annual income should be below Rs.2,40,000.

  5. The applicant shouldn’t receive any financial assistance from State/Central Government.

  6. Under this scheme, an applicant will receive scholarship amount ranging between Rs.7,500(lowest) to Rs.20,000(highest)

 

SCHOLARSHIP FOR CHILDRENS OF PWD PARENTS.

  1. The applicant’s parents should possess 40% or more disability.

  2. The applicant must be bona fide resident of Orissa.

  3. The applicant should be a regular student of educational institute. 

  4. The applicant’s parents annual income should be below Rs.2,40,000.

  5. The applicant shouldn’t receive any financial assistance from State/Central Government.

  6. Under this scheme, an applicant will receive scholarship amount of Rs.50,000*(maximum) per year on submission of admissible expenses vouchers.

 

FREE LAPTOP TO VISUALLY IMPAIRED STUDENTS

                        The Odisha government provides free laptops to visually impaired students pursuing higher education;

  1. Persons with bench mark disability certificate (40 % and above) issued by Medical Board.

  2. Pursuing higher education after +2 UG/PG course including MPHIL / PHD / LAW / Management / Medicine and other technical courses

  3. Applicant must be a resident of Odisha

 

SWEEKRUTI SCHEME(Scheme for Transgenders) .

            The transgender who holds Transgender Certificate and ID Card issued by the District Collector shall be eligible for different benefits under this scheme as detailed below.

  1.        Madhubabu Pension.

  2.        Antyodaya Anna Yojana

  3.        Special Scholarship for Study purpose.

  4.        House under Vasundhara Scheme to the landless TGs

  5.        Skill Development Training

  6.        The graded SHGs of Transgender Persons will receive one time assistance of Rs.1,25,000/- for initial activity support and start-up capital. 

AWARD OF INCENTIVE FOR MARRIAGE BETWEEN PwD& NORMAL PERSON

  1.       Marriage Incentive can be sanctioned to the couple having only one of the spouses with Benchmark Disabilities.

  2.        The bridegroom and the bride must have completed 21 years and 18 years of age respectively at the time of the marriage.

  3.        Either of spouses should not have availed the incentive award under this scheme earlier.

  4.        The spouse with Benchmark Disabilities should be a resident of Odisha State.

  5.        The amount of incentive is fixed at Rs. 250000/- (Rupees two lakh fifty thousand) only will be sanctioned by the Collector & District Magistrate.

BHIMA BHOI BHINNA KHYAMA SAMARHYA ABHIJAN(BBSA)

            BBSA Camps are orgranising at Block Hqrs or G.P level in every year. It is a single window camp for medical assessment, issuance of different miscellaneous and concession certificates, Aids & Appliances and facilitating  other SSEPD schemes to the all eligible PwDs.

DRI Loan (DEFERENTIAL RATE OF INTEREST)

  1. PWDs must be 18 years and above.

  2. Both BPL & APL PWDs may be selected with 40% and above disability.

  3. Bank loan Rs.10,000/- to Rs.20,000/- will be sanctioned with @ 4% interest per annum.

  4. Must be small unit or Trade adopted for livelihood and self –employment.

SENIOR CITIZEN

                        The age criteria of senior citizen will be 60 years and above. There is a provision for boarding and rehabilitation for Senior citizen. In Odisha state the population ratio of female are more than male. So the Govt. was implemented the scheme (Abadana) for Senior Citizen.One Ashra old age home At/Po- near forestgate ,Paralakhemundi is functioning in Gajapati district. There are 25 no.s older persons are residing in the said old age home. 

DRUG-DE-ADDICTS

                        One 15 beddedDrug-deaddiction center namely Jeevan Kiran has been operating by Soputra NGO since 2018 at Damodar Vihar, Near Gajapati Stadium funded by Govt. of India. The objective of the scheme is to rehabilitate the Drug-Addicts, proper health check-up, physiotherapy etc and eradication of drug habits.
